2009 A&W-hosted HNITC Poker-Run Details
This Poker-Run is exclusive for the drivers (and their riders),
who have registered their vehicle in the August 8, 2009 Hot Nite In The City Show-n-Shine.
Total cost for the Friday Poker-Run and displaying your
vehicle in the Saturday Show-n-Shine is $30 per vehicle.
Note: Registration is limited to 200 vehicles !!!
(with 30 prizes, you have a 1 in 6.67 chance of winning a minimum prize value of $125!!!)

The Canadian Skyline Car Clubs will be the featured car clubs
for the 2009 Hot Nite In The City Show-n-Shine!!!

and see how private vehicle owners can get a free
HNITC Show-n-Shine T-Shirt & hat if they register
prior to July 31, 2009!!!!
Submitting Your Completed Pre-Registration/Order Form:
Please include the $30 entry fee for the A&W-hosted HNITC Poker-Run
and HNITC Show-n-Shine. If you're pre-purchasing limited-edition HNITC
participants' T-Shirts, please include $20 per T-Shirt.)

multi-day Hot Nite In The City event! The Plaza Heritage Hotel is offering

Running of the 2009 A&W-hosted HNITC Poker-Run:
1. Poker-Run Registration (3:00pm-6:30pm):
Come to the Plaza Heritage Hotel (corner of Victoria Street & 4th Ave,
enter Hotel via the 4th Avenue entrance) to pick up your participants'
package for the Friday Poker-Run and the Saturday Show-n-Shine.

(If the Poker-Run and Show-n-Shine aren't sold out, you can
still register for both events, if you didn't pre-register)
You can begin your Poker-Run as soon as you're registered and
have your participant's package. (Don't forget to purchase your
limited-edition A&W-hosted HNITC Poker-Run participants' T-Shirt
and limited-edition HNITC Show-n-Shine participants' T-Shirt).
The exclusive A&W-hosted HNITC Poker-Run Dash
Plaque, and the exclusive HNITC Show-n-Shine Dash Plaque
are included in your registration package.
2. Running of the Poker-Run (3:00pm-8:30pm):
Start location is the Plaza Heritage Hotel. Follow the rules and road
map, as you fill in your Poker-Run player's card.
HNITC thanks the Kamloops Long Blades for providing volunteers
to operate this Poker-Run.
NOTE: You MUST deposit your completed Poker-Run player's card
(completion of a minimum of 5 locations, with a 5-card poker-hand will be accepted)
in the HNITC barrel at the Lansdowne Village A&W by 8:30 PM
Friday, August 7, 2009 precisely!!!
(no exceptions... the entry barrel will be removed at 8:30 PM).
3. Poker-Run Wrap-Up Party (5:00pm-9:00pm):
The last stop of the HNITC poker-run will be the Lansdowne Village
A&W with secured parking for a Show-n-Shine, great A&W food,
fun activities for the whole family, and prizes!!!
This will be a family-oriented, hot Night in the City event, so make
plans now, to stay until the 9:00pm closing!!!
(note: This last stop will stay open until 9:00pm, but your Poker-Run
player's card MUST be deposited in the HNITC barrel by 8:30pm!!!)
4. Saturday, August 8, 2009 (Noon-4:00pm):
On Saturday, August 8th, (Noon - 4:00pm) you MUST visit the
HNITC registration office in the Plaza Heritage Hotel to find out if
you won a Poker-Run prize.
Any Poker-Run winners who don't do this, forfeit their prize!!!
Remember, there is a total of $4,000 in prizes to be awarded!!!
- 1st prize is the coveted A&W pedal car,
- 2nd prize is the coveted A&W table and chairs set,
- 3rd prize is $125 and the coveted A&W coffee mug,
- plus there are 27 more prizes of a $125 value
5. Saturday, August 8, 2009 (5:00pm):
The top three Poker-Run winners MUST be present to claim
their prizes at the 5:00pm Saturday HNITC awards ceremony.

A Final Word:
Hot Nite In The City is a fun event that is enjoyed by over 30,000 people!!!
To maintain safety for spectators and entrants, please understand that the Hot Nite In The City Society has been given the highest assurance from the RCMP (who are great supporters of HNITC), there will be ZERO TOLERANCE for any motor vehicle infractions.
